Speech Title: Research on Physical Layer Security of Multi-hop Hybrid Wireless and Power line Networks
Abstract:
Power line communications in smart grids is vulnerableable to overhearing by multiparty eavesdroppers due to the poor channel gain in practical scenarios. To address this challenge, we investigate the integrated power line and wireless communication system. In particular, we propose an elaborate artificial noise aided beamforming scheme in a multi-hop network with a relay to improve the physical layer security with the objective to maximize the outage-constraint secrecy rate of the legitimate link. Technically, to circumvent the intractable problem, we combine the semidefinite programming and Bernstein-type inequality to transform it into two convex subproblems, which could be solved by a block coordinated descent algorithm.
